VIRTUS is in a select group of companies that have achieved the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, which demonstrates ‘best practice’ and places LONDON2 in the top 10% of new ‘non-domestic’ buildings in the UK.

VIRTUS also further extended its leadership position in the London Premium Hybrid Data Centre Market, by completing the purchase of the company that owned and operates Infinity’s Slough Data Centre, from Infinity SDC Limited (November 2015). This data centre has now become LONDON4, for which you can find a BREEAM Certificate here.

VIRTUS also adhere to the standards as published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, specifically 2017 Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy (TSP 100) (applicable trust services criteria). These are independently audited annually, during Q1 each year for the previous calendar year. VIRTUS LONDON2 has been awarded Tier III Certification of Design Documents by Uptime Institute, the globally recognized authority on improving data centre performance and efficiency. Uptime Institute has recognised LONDON2 data centre for its concurrently maintainable design by awarding it with its prestigious certification. This puts VIRTUS Data Centres in a small group of elite companies in London who have achieved the certification, and further highlights VIRTUS dedication to increasing its operational standards.

VIRTUS LONDON3 and LONDON4 have received Uptime Institute’s Management and Operations Stamp of Approval. This award places VIRTUS at the highest achievement level of excellence in the industry. Being certified by a third-party organization like Uptime Institute validates that our facilities and operations meet key business objectives, and that we have the level of resilience required to deliver world-class data centre solutions to our customers and partners.

Payment Card Security

PCI DSS is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, and is a worldwide standard that was set up to help businesses process card payments securely and reduce card fraud. This is done through tight controls surrounding the storage, transmission and processing of cardholder data that businesses handle. PCI DSS is intended to protect sensitive cardholder data. Our data centres are certified as PCI/DSS compliant, ensuring maximum safety of customer data at all times.
