New Virtus Data Centre Construction Progress from Simon

Last week Simon Anderson, our Construction Director, arrived on site in Hayes, where Virtus has started construction of its new flagship data centre LONDON2. A significant and exciting milestone for Virtus, as the company is expanding its data centre portfolio in London.

“With the appointment of the contractor for the project, detailed design works are under way allowing all necessary long lead items to be ordered. The site is in the process of being secured and site works have commenced. To date we have relocated drainage systems that cross the site, created the new access from Hayes Road to the site entrance and installed the underground ducts for all services needed for the data centre (power, water and connectivity).”
