VIRTUS’ expanding portfolio currently comprises 62 MVA of power in 21,180 sq. m. of data centre space in outer London’s Zone 5, interconnected to key sites in London by 22 Tier I and Tier II carriers.

LONDON1 | ENFIELD

Opened in Q1 2011, LONDON1 is designed to meet the growing demand for scalable, reliable, on-demand colocation services.

  • Total IT power of 4.2 MW and 33,000 sq. ft. of net technical space (c 3,000 sq. m.).
  • Facility Design PUE of <1.5.
  • 24/7/365 on site security and technical support.
  • Access to a wide choice of Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers.
  • Close to the City but outside the congestion zone (less than 18km away from Central London and less than 0.17 milliseconds round-trip latency).

The facility, designed to deliver high quality customer solutions, has nine data halls, all capable of being subdivided; allowing clients to have anything from a cabinet in a shared space, to their own suite or data hall with dedicated power and cooling.

LONDON2 | HAYES

Opened in Q3 2014, LONDON2 is VIRTUS’ new flagship data centre in London.

  • Total IT power of 11.4 MW and 65,000 sq. ft. of net technical space (c 6,000 sq. m.).
  • Facility PUE of < 1.2.
  • 24/7/365 on site security and technical support.
  • Wide choice of carriers – more than 10 from day one, of which 4 are Tier 1.
  • Close to the City but outside the congestion zone (27 km distance in fibre km to Docklands).

 

The facility, designed to deliver high quality customer solutions, has six data halls, all capable of being subdivided allowing clients to have anything from a cabinet in a shared space, to their own suite or data hall with dedicated power and cooling.

LONDON4 | SLOUGH

First opened in January 2014 and acquired by VIRTUS in December 2015, the LONDON4 data centre is highly efficient, delivering substantial TCO reductions to VIRTUS’ clients.
