VIRTUS Appoints Dominic Fulford as SVP of Technical Operations

Fulford will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for all aspects of Technical Operations and Customer Service for VIRTUS and its data centres

LONDON, United Kingdom – 11th January 2021 VIRTUS Data Centres (VIRTUS), London’s leading data centre company and part of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres Group, today announced the appointment of Dominic Fulford as SVP of Technical Operations. Reporting directly to Neil Cresswell, CEO of VIRTUS Data Centres, Fulford will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for all aspects of Technical Operations and Customer Service for VIRTUS and its data centres. 

Fulford’s primary focus will be delivering ‘zero downtime’ for customers through implementing continued Operational Excellence including operational safety, security and availability and zero defects quality across the business. 

With over 25 years of experience in leading IT operations in the data centre and technology industries, Fulford has a proven track record for building and leading highly successful support organisations with an inherent passion for excellence, quality and customer service. 

Fulford joins VIRTUS from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), where he was the Senior Director leading Global Data Centre Operations. He was instrumental in the OCI implementations in Frankfurt and London and led the Data Centre Global Operations Organisation, with 30 availability domains and over 300 staff in 15 countries.
