C4L USES GEO NETWORK'S DARK FIBRE TO CONNECT VIRTUS' DC IN ENFIELD WITH THE DOCKLANDS

Virtus Data Centres is pleased to announce an expansion in the connectivity capacity at its Enfield data centre. As part of its wider connectivity strategy, Virtus is increasing the diversity of carriers and bandwidth capacity into its data centres.

"C4L Makes Light Work Of Enfield DC to London Internet Exchange Link Colocation specialist uses Geo Networks to connect data centre with London metro area UK data centre, colocation and connection service provider Connexions for London (C4L) has lit up some of Geo Networks dark fibre in an agreement for the provision of a high speed network between its North London data centre and the Docklands internet exchange. This enables C4L to offer 1-100 Gigabits per second (Gbs) links for its customers business critical applications. High-speed drain The data centre is housed in the Virtus facility in Enfield which became a Geo connection point in March 2012. This was installed as an open access connectivity point to Geo 3,000 kilometre nationwide backbone for customers of Virtus."
